One successful retrieval request costs one credit. At $1 per 1000 successful requests, each credit costs $0.001. The minimum paid top-up is $50 for 50000 credits. There are no subscriptions, and paid credits do not expire. An account may receive 100 trial credits subject to anti-abuse eligibility across the network; this is neither a guaranteed signup grant nor a purchase bonus.
A response containing three comments and a successful empty response each cost one credit. A local reconstruction may use several requests, so do not budget by the number of complete trees you hope to draw. For example, 20 successful page requests consume 20 credits, regardless of how many usable relationships you later establish. Each successful repeated request is charged again.
Errors and collection boundaries
Invalid requests do not debit credits, and upstream failures refund reservations. A network interruption on your side can occur after a successful server retrieval has been charged. Record outcomes before repeating a request. HTTP 402 concerns an insufficient balance; HTTP 429 concerns rate limits and is not solved by assuming that another top-up removes the limit.
Each request returns at most 100 records; a query allows at most 100 pages, requested separately. These limits do not promise complete discussions or a particular volume of relevant comments. Public /v1/status is uncharged, but its static response does not test your key or search availability. Keys, accounts and balances belong to redditcommentsapi.com rather than the whole network.
Create an invoice before transferring
Sign in to the account panel on the key page and create a server invoice before sending money. Supported payment options are USDT on TRON TRC20 and USDC on Ethereum mainnet ERC20. Use the recipient and exact amount displayed in that current invoice. A different token or network does not satisfy the requested payment, and recovery is not promised.
An invoice expires after one hour. After sending, paste the transaction hash and request verification. Credits are added only after verification of a genuine confirmed transfer matching the invoice. There is no guaranteed settlement time. If a provider is unavailable, verification can remain pending; pending status is not an instruction to send the payment again.
